CIVIC INFORMATION · ONLINE

The presidential election,
finally made clear.

Baromètre 2027 brings together what was scattered: candidates, their policies, polls, news coverage and campaign videos. An independent experience designed to help people understand before they choose.

WHY THIS PROJECT?

Political information exists.
But it is often fragmented.

Following a presidential election means moving between polling institutes, public statements, video channels, news articles and candidate websites. For anyone unfamiliar with politics, this fragmentation quickly turns information into noise.

Baromètre 2027 was conceived as a civic toolkit: a single, visual and documented entry point that helps readers understand the forces at work without imposing a political preference. The site does not conduct its own polls. It makes existing public data and content easier to read.

02

WHO IS IT FOR?

For everyone who wants to follow the campaign
without becoming a specialist.

Find policies, public positions, trends and verifiable sources in one place.

03

WHAT IT OFFERS

A complete dashboard,
without turning citizens into analysts.

CANDIDATES

Complete profiles

Profile, political family, estimated polling average, policies by theme, sources, videos and social presence.

POLLS

The pulse of the campaign

A multi-institute average kept separate from individual polls, with trends and fieldwork dates.

POLICIES

Compare proposals

Positions organised by theme, making it easy to move from political impressions to concrete content.

MEDIA

News and videos together

Recent appearances and articles are gathered, filterable by candidate and linked directly to their source.

EXPLANATION

Understand the election

Clear guidance on the voting process, polls, uncertainty margins and the site methodology.

ACCESS

Six active languages

French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Arabic make the French campaign accessible beyond its borders.

05

UNDER THE HOOD

A lightweight public interface.
A robust data pipeline behind it.

01 · SOURCESPolls, RSS feeds, video channels and public data
02 · PRIVATE ENGINEPython collection, filtering, normalisation and checks
03 · DATAJSON and JavaScript files written atomically
04 · INTERFACEFast HTML, CSS and JavaScript pages with no user account

Static public front end

Visitors receive HTML, CSS and JavaScript pages that the browser can use directly. This architecture reduces dependence on an application server for everyday display and supports speed, resilience and indexing.

Data separated from the interface

Candidates, polls, news and videos are organised in dedicated files. The presentation can evolve without rewriting the collection engine, and the engine can update data without rebuilding the site.

Controlled automation

Python scripts retrieve useful feeds, remove noise, preserve sources and publish new data. Locks prevent simultaneous runs, while health checks verify that essential content remains usable.

Genuine internationalisation

Each language has adapted pages and candidate data. French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Arabic versions are connected through a multilingual SEO architecture.

Generated social sharing

The campaign pulse also feeds a dedicated share page and image, keeping social data readable, dated and consistent with the site.

Privacy by design

No account is required to access information, and the site does not collect visitors’ political opinions. Sources, methodology and correction procedures are public.

06

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

A project built through iteration,
with AI as a production workshop.

01
INITIAL BUILD

Claude Fable 5

The first architecture, functional identity and much of the experience were developed through an iterative dialogue with Claude Fable 5. This phase quickly transformed the initial idea into a concrete, navigable product.

02
REVIEW & FINALISATION

GPT-5.6 Sol

The site was then reviewed, audited and finalised with GPT-5.6 Sol: structural corrections, data engine consolidation, mobile improvements, richer profiles, internationalisation, SEO and safer updates.

03
PROJECT DIRECTION

Continuous human control

Editorial choices, standards, trade-offs and final validation remain human. AI accelerates design and code, but does not replace intention, responsibility or control of the result.
